Tsha Tsha traces the intertwining lives of 4 young people in the fictional rural Eastern Cape (South Africa) town of Lubusi, who all connect once at a week at a local Ballroom dance class. This is a story about life being a song-and-dance that involves the beats of struggle, the passion of love and the stamina of perseverance in difficult times.
Big city boy, Duma aka DJ is sent to a small town, Lubusi, to hide out after crossing the wrong people. He has to stay with his uncle, TaMike, and make the most of this backward town Lubusi. Much to his surprise he starts to enjoy the rhythms and beats of small town life.
Life isn't the same in Lubusi. TaMike has been shot, his son Cedric has just been released from jail and DJ has to deal with all this while managing Satisfaction. Andile has to deal with his mother's death and take care of his sister while coming to terms with his feelings for Viwe. Boniswa's son has moved in and now she has to be a mother and a student while juggling her relationship with DJ. Its going to be a crazy ride for all in Lubusi.
